HOW IT IS MADE
The challenge to make the simple special with color and quality is something that defines our little label. The design of the collection is done in Antwerp and inspiration comes from all sides; fashion, art, architecture,… even food on a plate in a great restaurant can be an important source of inspiration.
The way of manufacturing remains traditional and is taken care of by a small familiy business in Italy, that has been producing knitwear for generations long. The factory is located in an old discotheque, which certainly reflects the funky rock’n roll character of the collection. The choice for Italy and this factory was made quickly because of the high quality of yarns and their craftsmanship. The pizza and limoncello are only a bonus.
Tricot POP is a Belgian brand of knitwear essentials. The designs reflect a sense of less is more, focusing on comfort and relaxed elegance. Its catchy color combinations and fine qualities contribute to a high level of happy- and cuddliness. Combining these elements, Tricot POP wants to accompany you through every season, whether it’s to keep you warm during winter or comfortable on a chilly summer evening.
MATERIALS
We focus on the finest quality of materials so that our knitwear stays beautiful and lasts a lifetime. The two main qualities we use in the collection are baby alpaca and kid mohair. These yarns are both natural fibres from the very first shearing of the animals and gives the softest and finest quality. The blend of these two qualities is supplemented with a little bit of nylon that protects the firmness of the knitwear.This means that when your knit stret- ches out, it can and will take back its original form.
We love this blend of qualities for its diverse characteristics, from its incredible softness and lightness to its strength and warmth. We hope you love this light and luxurious feeling as much as we do.
